We are still in the 'disbelief' mode. Hard to believe we are about to travel. The packing that was to be done Sunday is still not done, however the wonderful candles that were hauled all over the mall and that will now not be going to China are conveniently tucked away in the 'gift closet' and will become the trinkets of my friends this holiday season. Normally the Christmas shopping is pretty much done by now but not this year. Due to the business I am in I have always said "If it isn't done by September 1, it won't get done". I used to be so bad that I wrapped the gifts in early October. Then they became one more thing that had to be dusted. Issues everywhere.
We still have to call the credit card companies to let them know of our journey. I have to go by the phone store to add the "EXTRA DATA" package to my phone for the month so we won't get gauged on all the extra data I will be receiving. (It's the Holiday Season so there's lots of e-mails going around). The prescription for Cipro still needs to be picked up. Shoot, they've probably returned it to stock by now since it has been so long. The last three times I tried to pick it up the pharmacy was closed. The most dreaded thing we still have to do is get Luke's flu shot. We were unsuccessful at getting one of our nieces or nephews to do this daunting task so mommy gets the honors tomorrow! Oh well. Need to send my sister-in-law the information on the blog so she can blog for us if we are locked out. Still haven't cooked those 19 meals I had planned to cook for my in-laws who are caring for Luke. I wonder if gift cards will be just as good? There's always tomorrow! Sweet dreams world... there's packing to be done! HOLD ON MARAN...we're coming to get ya!

Hey! I tried to call you at work today (I don't have another number) to let you know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you everyday while you are gone...I know you can't wait to get Maran in your arms and I can't wait to follow along...don't leave us hanging....I have never known anyone that has been able to see or touch Alice so it feels so your trip is special to me for many reasons...special because you are bringing home my daughter's best friend and special because you might actually be able to see or touch her at the orphanage visit...either way, you are a whole lot closer than me and that is just cool...I hope you have a wonderful experience and everything is peaceful and smooth...God is good!! Hugs, Jennifer
